I was wondering about the possibilities of storing RU files outside of the Domino directory and accessing them via a directory link. I've tried a few experiments in this direction but with no success; the main problem being (I think) that user directories already exist, so the roaming user setup skips them. Ideally I'd like to be able to use a UNC path (e.g. \\<servername>\<sharename>\<directory>) as opposed to a mapped drive.

Has anyone tried this method (directory link) and had it work? I've not seen anything in the docs about it been supported or otherwise.

Any thoughts and successful/failed experiments welcome.
